How many times have you heard the word “Niche” in the past few years? A lot, I’m sure. Like me, I ‘m sure you have some questions. They probably look something like this:

  1. What is a niche
  2. How do I find mine?

Let’s look at the definition, Wiki says a niche market is the subset of the market in which a specific product is focusing. So basically, a niche market defines the specific product features aimed at satisfying specific market needs. Simple right?

Finding your niche

Do you find yourself offering a lot of services hoping that someone will purchase them? Are your offerings too generic, and lack a certain focus that is sure to turn anyone away. Do you see the problem? You could possibly be trying to sell to anyone and everyone and essentially selling to no one. So, try specializing in one thing and market that. You want to be able to provide value to your audience and establish yourself as an authority in your industry.

Finding your niche is an important step in building and growing a successful business. When you try to sell to everyone, you run the risk of selling to no one. The more you niche, the easier it is to provide value to a specific audience.
