Karen Bumgardner – Productivity Strategist

Karen Bumgardner is the owner/founder of G.Y.S.T. Now! formerly Better Organization, which she launched in 2006.

She brings over 35 years of experience in developing efficient systems and documenting processes along with improving time management to her role as a Productivity StrateGYST.

Karen honed her skills in both the corporate environment and privately owned businesses in a variety of industries such as: HVAC, RV Mfg., Auto Glass and Micro-electronics R&D. Prior to moving to moving to Minnesota in 2004, Karen spent 10 years in Mortgage Loan Servicing as both Servicing Manager and VP of Operations.

Karen and Dave have been married since 1983 and have two adult children. Before moving to Minnesota in 2004, they spent 17 years in a small town in SW Michigan where they lovingly renovated a Victorian, built in 1887, with the goal of opening a Bed and Breakfast.

They currently share their home with Bowie and Sadie (both rescues from Golden Valley Humane Society).

Karen was a three term President of NAPO MN (the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Productivity and Organization) and is a member of NAPO National’s Golden Circle.

She brings 5 years of experience to her clients, and finds joy in helping people feel empowered in making financial decisions for them, their families, and their business. Since Promus is the latin word for stewardship, one of Celine’s core values is education; making sure her clients have all the tools to make the right decisions.
Celine is certified to use a planning program called the Macro Asset Perspective, which helps clients visualize where to save their money, and why. It takes the ‘guess work’ and emotion out of saving, while knowing you are on a path to success.
 
In addition to her work, Celine is passionate about exploring the world with her husband, Joe, loves cuddling with their 2 cats, Milo and Dora, and enjoys checking out new restaurants in the Twin Cities. She is active with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society- by participating both with Team in Training and the Man and Woman of the Year annual campaign. Celine is also a member in the Junior League of Minneapolis, and has enjoyed the opportunity to contribute to her community philanthropically through the League.
